Sand Activities for Kids

Sand is such a simple, cheap, fun, and versatile sensory material – we love it!

Ever since my parents-in-law built a sandbox for E in our backyard, we’ve played with sand at least once a week.

Looking back at our activities so far, I definitely think we should use it for more crafts and art activities, not “just” sensory activities – although those are all kinds of awesome, of course!

It took a while for us to get around to it, but once we did, my preschooler and my toddler absolutely adored Sand Foam Sensory Play! It was so quick and simple to set up and entertained the siblings for a long time.
