Invitation to Play with Cups and Flowers

My toddler loves simple invitations to play (as did his sister when she was younger)! And I really enjoy them, too. That’s in part of course because he has so much fun with them, but also because they’re simple to set up, can be as messy or non-messy as I’m in the mood for, and usually require minimal supervision. Plus, I get a kick out of how he adds his own ideas to a point that many times, the activity turns out completely differently than I’d planned 🙂

This Invitation to Play with Cups and Flowers was another one that kept him busy for quite some time despite minimal setup and materials. In the end, when N lost interest, E stepped in and added something new that sparked his interest again.

My toddler loved this fun little sensory invitation to play with cups and flowers. I always enjoy the simplicity and how he adds his own ideas to the activity :)

(N was 1 year and 10 months old.)
