As promised, here are the Cat and Yarn 10 Frame Addition Clip Cards that were the inspiration for the Cat and Yarn 10 Frame Counting Clip Cards I made for N a while ago.

Materials for Cat and Yarn 10 Frame Addition Clip Cards
- Printable PDF file (download below).
- Laminator, laminating pouches (optional).
- Paper cutter or scissors.
What’s in the printable PDF file?
The printable file includes three pages of four clip cards each. One card includes written directions and an example of how to use the clip cards. The other 11 cards cover different addition sentences with sums up to 10.
Each card shows a ten frame with balls of yarn in two different colors that represent an addition sentence. The objective is to mark the matching addition sentence at the bottom of each card.
Print out the page(s) you want to use and cut them apart at the thick black lines. Mark the correct addition sentences with clothespins for an extra fine motor workout or simply provide markers or manipulatives if you prefer. If you don’t use clothespins, you can even skip the cutting and just leave the pages intact for a no prep printable.
And because it was just too cute, here’s what N did with the clip cards before he got his own set 😉
