Halloween Counting Clip Cards (5-10)
Last week, I made some Halloween Counting Clip Cards for numbers between 10 and 20 to see if E was up to handling those numbers. She had a little trouble at first, but she figured out a strategy to keep her 1:1 correspondence straight quickly and did great after that.
While I was at it, I made similar printables for a few other number ranges, too. Here’s one step down for preschoolers: Halloween Counting Clip Cards (5-10).
For this one, I used images of bats, brooms, cauldrons, frogs, pumpkins, rats, trees, and spiders for a hopefully non-scary but still Halloween-y theme.
Print out the pages (there are 2 pages with 4 clip cards each), laminate them, and provide clothespins to mark the correct answers. Or mix it up and use other means of marking the correct answer. Dry erase markers, stickers, Halloween erasers or other manipulatives would be great choices.
