Now, this activity was a total slam dunk with my 4-year-old! He snatched it out of my hand as soon as I mentioned cutting and pasting, was totally focused while doing the activity, then asked for more. I ended up making two more similar worksheets for him right away while he hovered over me, urging me on to get it done quickly 😉
Today, I’m sharing the Candy Counting Cut and Paste Worksheet but will make sure to share the other two versions I made as soon as possible.

Materials for Candy Counting Cut and Paste Worksheet
- Printable file (below).
- Printer.
- Scissors.
- Glue stick.
What’s in the printable PDF file?
The file includes a one-page cut and paste worksheet.
At the top are simple instructions. Below, you’ll find six squares with solid lines numbered 1 through 6.
At the bottom, there are six images of candy in a jar with between one and six pieces of candy in each jar.Â
As this is a no-prep printable, you just need to print the page and provide some scissors and a glue stick.
The objective is to cut out the images of candy jars, count the pieces of candy in each, and paste them on the matching numbers.
