Sunflower Petal Counting Puzzle
Welcome welcome welcome to day 1 of the 7 Days of Sunflower Printables for Kids series! I’m so excited about finally starting a new series – so without further ado, here’s my Sunflower Petal Counting Puzzle for you!

Materials for Sunflower Petal Counting Puzzle
- Printable file (below).
- Laminator, laminating pouches (optional).
- Two sheets of paper.
What’s in the printable PDF file?
The file includes ten sunflower petals with small sunflowers with between one and ten petals on them. The objective is to match the petals to the numbers on the large sunflower seed area that’s also included.
I’ve added two types of templates to make it easier for younger kids to understand the placement of the petals.
Print the petals and seeds plus one of the optional templates, cut out the petals and seeds (if not using the template that includes the seed area with numbers), and let the kids match the petals to the numbers.
