Super Simple Heart Picture Frame Craft
Today, I have a cute, super simple craft for you that I came up with to include my young toddler in our Valentine’s Day crafting. This Heart Picture Frame Craft turned out really cute, and N loved that it features his artwork 🙂
E kept talking about what a good job her little brother did, and she helped me put the picture frame together.
(N was 1 year and 6 months old.)

Materials for Heart Picture Frame Craft
- Paper.
- Cardboard. {I used part of a diaper box. It worked well, but the material doesn’t have to be quite that thick, and thinner cardboard would be way easier to cut.}
- Markers, crayons or colored pencils for coloring.
- Scissors.
- Knife (optional).
- Glue or glue stick.
- Sticky tape.
I printed out a simple heart outline made from two heart shapes in Word, but you could hand draw your shape.
N colored the heart.
When N was done, I cut out the heart
and traced it on the cardboard.
Then I simply glued the paper heart and the cardboard heart together.
E really wanted some of her artwork included, too, so I used some paper she’d drawn on earlier in the day as the backing.
I told you this was super simple – I used sticky tape to put the backing on 😉
E picked out the photo she wanted in there. Not really my favorite photo or one I would’ve picked, but she loves it 🙂
The heart picture frame looks great on our kitchen cabinet!
