Materials for Pineapple Emotions Matching Game
- Printable file (below).
- Printer.
- Laminator, laminating pouches (optional but recommended).
- Paper cutter or scissors.
- Paper.
What’s in the printable PDF file?
The printable includes a page of six cards with pineapples showing six different facial expressions corresponding to different emotions: happy, excited, worried, sad, angry, surprised.
Print two copies of the page and cut apart one of the copies for the most basic matching game for toddlers. Or just print one copy as a conversation starters about emotions. Regardless, my kids think it’s super fun to imitate the facial expressions on each card 🙂
For more advanced matching games, you could print extra copies or add one or both of my other emotions matching games: Watermelon Emotions Matching Game and Strawberry Emotions Matching Game.
