Memorial Day Color by Number Coloring Page
Memorial Day weekend, or May in general, is definitely NOT one of those times when you want something complicated that requires specific materials or a lot of setup. I’m all for simple and meaningful at the best of times, and definitely when things get busy.
This Memorial Day Color by Number Coloring Page is exactly that. Just print, hand over some crayons, and let them get to work while you enjoy five minutes of quiet.
It’s designed to be simple enough for the youngest learners while still being fun and engaging for kindergarten and even older kids. Coloring is always fun, even if you already know your numbers. And if it helps you practice and review new concepts, even better!
This is also a VIP early-bird printable that VIPs have had access to for the past ten days.

What’s in the printable PDF file?
There are three pages in this printable:
Default Color by number page: A fun Memorial Day-themed coloring page with one number from 1 through 8 in each section. There’s a number key at the top to show which color to use in each section. By default, the following 8 colors are used:
- white,
- light blue,
- dark blue,
- yellow,
- red,
- orange,
- green,
- and pink.
Free-choice version: Uses the same image with blank crayon spots in the key. So if you don’t have all of the default colors or want to use fewer different colors, you can. Or just let the kids pick their own colors and fill in the key themselves before they start. Perfect for making the printable work for what you have AND for supporting creativity for kids who want ownership over their color choices.
Answer key for default colors: Just in case someone wants to check the default color solution at a glance or needs some extra support as a reference while coloring.
