Labeling a picture to give a reader information about the picture is a great literacy skill for kindergarten and first grade. This set of Winter Penguin Labeling Worksheets with a super cute penguin comes in two handwriting and one cut and paste version for different skill levels. None of them require any preparation.

Materials for Winter Penguin Labeling Worksheets
- Printable file (below).
- Printer.
- Laminator, laminating pouches (if using writing versions; optional).
- Pen or pencil (if using writing versions).
- Scissors and glue stick (if using cut and paste version; optional).
- Paper.
What’s in the printable PDF file?
The no prep labeling worksheets come in three versions:
- Cut and paste.
- Handwriting with a word bank.
- Handwriting without a word bank.
The labels are the same for each version: Beak, belly, candy cane, eye, feet, headband, scarf, wing.
Print the page(s) you want to use and start labeling right away, no special preparation is required.
Please note that while E added the German translations after labeling with the English words as seen in the picture below, the printable only includes an English word bank.
