Valentine’s Friends Roll, Add, and Cover Game

My kids are always very enthusiastic about playing games – no matter how many times they’ve played the same or a similar game before. If the details are too advanced for 3-year-old N to figure out, E is happy to help him. I love it!

They saw today’s Valentine’s Friends Roll, Add, and Cover Game on my screen and couldn’t wait to get their hands on it. And then N asked me to turn it into a puzzle for him 🙂 {Puzzle coming soon.}

Materials for Valentine’s Friends Roll, Add, and Cover Game

• Printable file (below).
• Printer.
• Laminator, laminating pouches (optional).
• Paper.
• Manipulatives or one or two markers.

 

What’s in the printable PDF file?

The file includes one roll, add, and cover game with a Valentine’s theme. It requires no prep – just print, get some dice, manipulatives and/or markers, and play.

You can play by yourself or with a partner either cooperatively or competitively. Roll two six-sided dice (or roll one six-sided die twice), add the numbers, and cover or mark the sum on the gameboard. Continue until all numbers are covered/marked.

If you’re playing competitively, use two different types of manipulatives or two different colored markers and count how many numbers each player claimed at the end of the game.
