Do You Want to Build a Snowman? Sequencing Printable

If I haven’t done enough printables this past week {Have you seen my 24 Days of Christmas Printables series? If not, you should check it out, it’s pretty awesome 🙂 }, I also have a standing date with some of my blogging buddies to write a post on a common topic each month. This month, the topic is “Snow/Snowman”.

Well, we sure love snowmen, so that’s what I went with: A Snowman Sequencing Printable! {Scroll to the bottom of the post to find out what my friends wrote about!}

We recently read How to Build a Snowman to N, and this printable goes perfectly with it for slightly older kids!

What’s in the Printable PDF File?

The snowman building sequence has five parts: Rolling a big snowball, stacking two big snowballs on top of each other, putting arms on the snowman, putting a carrot nose in the snowman’s face, and finally the complete snowman.

There are two versions included: A color version and a black and white version that kids can color.

How to Prepare the Snowman Sequencing Printable:

After printing, you can laminate if you want (color version only – you can laminate the black and white version after it has been colored), then either cut out the images or have the kids help if they’re able. Finally, hand over the images and let the kids put them in the correct order.

Younger kids may need you to talk them through it, older kids can tell their own story about building a snowman and put down the appropriate image for each stage of the story.
