Patterned Shamrocks Matching Clip Cards

Today, I’m sharing some Patterned Shamrocks Matching Clip Cards that are a great way to practice visual discrimination and fine motor skills at the same time. {For tons of clip cards with different themes, click here.}

Materials for Patterned Shamrocks Matching Clip Cards

• PDF file (download below).
• Printer.
• Laminator, laminating pouches (optional).
• Paper cutter or scissors.
• Paper (2 sheets).
• Clothespins. (Or manipulatives if your kids aren’t up to using clothespins yet.)

 

What’s in the printable PDF file?

The file includes two pages of four clip cards each for a total of eight cards with different patterned shamrocks.

Each card shows one large patterned shamrock and three different small shamrocks. One of the small shamrocks has the same pattern as the large shamrock on the card.

The objective is to mark the matching small shamrock on each card, either with a clothespin or other manipulatives (depending on individual fine motor skill levels).

To prepare the clip cards, print out both pages on heavy paper and laminate them. If you’re not using clothespins, you can leave the pages intact if you’d like, but you need to cut the cards apart at the green lines for use with clothespins.
