What’s in the printable PDF file?
The printable includes (12) 2-piece puzzles on two pages. The puzzles cover every number from 1 through 12.
Each 2-piece puzzle is made up of one piece with a kid holding the number and a second piece with just the number. Matching numbers have the same color on both pieces.
Each piece only fits exactly one other piece.
Print out one or both pages, laminate for better handling and durability, and cut the puzzles apart at the thick black lines.
Start with one puzzle at a time for younger kids and as an introduction to that particular number, then work up to mixing several puzzles.
The puzzles also are great for working on number recognition, number order, and more.
