New Year’s Party Advanced Tracing Lines
Phew, this Christmas season was at the same time short (time just flew!) and long (I did a 24 Days of Christmas Printables for Toddlers series and posted twice on some days). And now it’s over and it’s time to figure out New Year’s Eve!
We typically don’t do much on NYE, even the grown-ups, but I think it’s still important for the kids to know about what’s going on, so we’re talking about it this year. It’s the first time that E is aware of the fact that a new year is about to start. I’m also making a few printables to go along with the theme and work as conversation starters.
Today, I have a New Year’s Party Advanced Tracing Lines printable for you!

Materials for New Year’s Party Advanced Tracing Lines
- Printable file (below).
- Printer.
- Laminator, laminating pouches (optional).
- Paper cutter or scissors (optional).
- Paper.
What’s in the Printable PDF File?
There are two pages with four advanced tracing lines with a New Year’s party theme each. I’ve included kids dressed in party clothes (including a New Year’s baby), some of them holding balloons or throwing confetti, different party hats, a clock striking midnight, firecrackers, and noisemakers.
You can simply print out the page(s) you want to use and use them as a super quick, no-prep prewriting activity. If you have a little more time, you can laminate the page(s) for reusability and/or cut the pages apart at the solid black lines to make individual tracing strips that work great in a center in preschool or kindergarten or in a busy bag.
