Letter A Picture Matching Game

We’re still working on letters with matching games! Today, I’ve got a new letter for you: Letter A Picture Matching Game.

You can use the letter A images on their own for matching or mix and match with other letters, like the Letter N Picture Matching Game, to work on sorting.

Materials for Letter A Picture Matching Game

  • Free printable PDF file (below).
  • Printer.
  • Laminator, laminating pouches (optional).
  • Paper cutter or scissors (optional).
  • Paper.

 

What’s in the printable PDF file?

The printable file contains one page with six rectangles that each show one image whose name starts with letter A: Acorn, airplane, alligator, ambulance, arrow, and astronaut.

The name is included on each card. The first letter of each name is emphasized in a bigger size and with a color taken from the image.

Print the page twice, cut the cards apart at the black lines, and match the images. Don’t forget to chat about the names, the letter A, the details of the images, etc.

    I love your letter picture matching games! I can only find “a” and “n.” Do you have the other letters?
    Also, I purchased your toddler matching bundle a few weeks ago. Love it!!

      Hi Rachel, I’m so glad that you like all of the matching games! You’re right, I only have picture matching games for A and N so far. I’m working on adding more letters and eventually covering the entire alphabet.
