Halloween Cutting Practice Puzzles
Today, I have another printable for you that I created based on something 5-year-old E wanted to do.
She loves cutting, which leads to me finding tiny bits of paper all over her room. So when she asked me for cutting practice the other day, I decided to make something she can cut and still use afterward. I’m sure she didn’t think that I’d make her Halloween Cutting Practice Puzzles when she asked the question, but she was ecstatic when she saw them 🙂
{Is Halloween over? I have a Thanksgiving version, too!}
(E was 5 years and 11 months old.)

Materials for Halloween Cutting Practice Puzzles
- Printable pdf file (download below).
- Printer.
- Laminator, laminating pouches (optional but useful if you want to be able to reuse the puzzles).
- Scissors or paper cutter. (I’ll let E try the paper cutter next time for the straight lines. She loves that thing. Heck, even 2-year-old N loves that thing for some reason 😉 )
What’s in the Printable PDF File?
The printable includes 24 different puzzles. There are eight different images with three different puzzle versions each: I used Frankenstein, a mummy, a ghost, a pumpkin, a candy apple, balloons in Halloween colors, a bat, and a broom, and there’s a version with straight lines, with curved lines, and with zigzag lines of each image. Two puzzles are on each page.
