Funny Pipe Cleaner Worms

When Oma was visiting from Germany last summer, she made pipe cleaner worms with E. I never saw how they made them but I remember being surprised that E was able to curl the pipe cleaners on her own.

When we came across a craft bucket on clearance at Walmart that had pipe cleaners and face stickers, I remembered Oma’s and E’s craft and wanted to make some Funny Pipe Cleaner Worms with E – we both thought those face stickers were pretty hilarious 😉

Materials for Pipe Cleaner Worms:

We both got right to work twisting our pipe cleaners around some pencils.

E definitely had no trouble with it at all.

She wasn’t satisfied with just a simple pipe cleaner worm, though. No, she decided to make a worm from three pipe cleaners!

When we were happy with our worms, we each chose some of the face stickers and simply stuck them on one end of the twisted and curled pipe cleaners.

Pipe cleaner worms look really cute with googly eyes, too – you can use a tiny bit of glue if they’re not self-adhesive.

When E was done making worms, she played around with the face stickers. She told me that she made a portrait of Papa 😉
