Easter Egg Sight Word Read and Cover Game
Are you working on sight words with your kindergartner or preschooler? Here’s another printable activity for reviewing them: Easter Egg Sight Word Read and Cover Game.
It’s modeled after the popular roll and cover games {like this one that has a Valentine’s theme}, but with a literacy spin.

What’s in the Printable PDF File?
There are two game boards, each with 20 sight words from the pre-primer sight word list. Print one or both, then have your kids read the words and cover those they get right with manipulatives. Or use dot markers to mark the words.
This simple game works great whether you play solo, cooperatively or competitively. Make up your own rules to make it more interesting!
