Differentiated N is for Night Letter Find
N has become quite good (for his age!) at coloring specific areas of a page and he loves spotting letters he knows everywhere – the perfect conditions for enjoying these simple no prep letter finds 🙂 When he heard that he was supposed to find his absolute favorite letter (who doesn’t love their first initial? 😉 ), he couldn’t wait and did great with this N is for Night Letter Find.
{The whole thing did somehow end with him being upset because when he was done, he realized that N is for Ninja would’ve been soooo much cooler 😉 The next printable I made obviously included a ninja – so stay tuned for that version 😉 }

Materials for N is for Night Letter Find
- Printable file (below).
- Printer.
- Laminator, laminating pouches (optional).
- Paper.
- Marker, dry erase marker, highlighter, or similar.
What’s in the printable PDF file?
The file includes four different letter N letter finds:
- A limited number of letters mixed with the “N”s you’re supposed to find;
- “N”s and “M”s only;
- many different letters with the “N”s in a larger font size;
- similar to version 1 but with a larger number of letters for those with a longer attention span.
There’s no prep necessary, simply print and get to work.
If coloring/scribbling over the individual letters proves challenging, you could use manipulatives to mark the letters instead. Or simply point to them while chatting with younger kids.
