Materials for Crayon Color Matching Clip Cards
- Printable file (below).
- Three sheets of paper.
- Laminator, laminating pouches (optional).
- Paper cutter or scissors (optional).
- Clothespins or manipulatives
What’s in the printable PDF file?
The printable includes four pages of color clip cards featuring crayons and matching scribbles in eleven different colors.
There’s a total of eleven clip cards and one instruction card.
On each clip card, there’s a crayon in one color and three scribbles: one in the same color as the crayon, the other two in different colors.
The instruction card explains the objective both verbally and visually, which is to clip the scribble that matches the color of the crayon.
Print out the pages, laminate, and cut (or cut first and laminate the individual cards for even more durability), and provide some clothes pins or manipulatives to mark the colors.
Alternatively, a paperclip for marking the correct answer also works well, or use small manipulatives to place on the cards.
