Materials for Christmas Gift Tags

A few days ago, I shared some printable Christmas ornaments to color. I thought it was a cute little activity when I came up with it, but I had no idea just how much E was going to enjoy both coloring them and hanging them on our Christmas tree.

24 Days of Christmas Printables: Day 4 - color your own printable Christmas ornaments! Super fun and cute ornaments for toddlers and preschoolers!

The same was true for today’s printable gift tags. Looks like this holiday season, coloring something that you can use in another way afterward really appeals to her 🙂 {Oh, I almost forgot – she also got pretty excited about the Advent Calendar Coloring Page.}

I think these printable gift tags work best when you print them on scrapbook paper. It gives them a nice pattern on the back, but you could just go with plain heavy paper.

Once they’re colored, cut out the tags along the lines, punch a hole in them, and use a piece of ribbon or string to tie them to your gifts!

A priceless gift label made completely by a 5-year old <3 You can, of course, do the cutting and/or writing yourself, if you prefer.

We didn’t laminate this time – for some reason, I wasn’t crazy about the texture for gift tags. That’s squarely in “I have a feeling” territory, though, and you can definitely laminate if you want!
