Build an Addition Frankenstein (8-10)

Yoohoo, I’m so excited about day 1 of the 7 Days of Halloween Printables of Kids! Let’s get this party started!

For today, I made a Build an Addition Frankenstein (8-10) printable that I had a blast with. My daughter loves it because it’s just plain cute and because it helps her review her addition facts in a fun way. Win-win all around!

Materials for Build an Addition Frankenstein

  • Printable file (below).
  • Paper.
  • Printer.
  • Laminator, laminating pouches (optional).
  • Scissors.

What’s in the printable PDF file?

The printable covers addition to 8-10 and includes one line-art Frankenstein for each number. For each number, there’s a copy of Frankenstein’s head, legs, torso, and two arms with sums on them that add up to the number on Frankenstein.

Print two or more pages, cut out the body parts at their outlines and Frankenstein (including his number) at the vertical and horizontal lines around him.

Match the sums to the numbers, read the addition sentences, and place the body parts in the correct spots.
