Best of August 2016

I usually feel a bit nostalgic about the end of yet another fun-filled month, but I have to admit that this time, there was also excitement. Because it’s now September – the start of my very favorite season of the year, fall 🙂

The Top 3 Most Popular New Posts in August 2016

Rainbow Bear Colors

N thinks that rainbow bears are the.best.toy.ever! Clearly, many others feel the same way, as shown by the big interest in this simple rainbow bear printable. You can use it to work on color recognition, color sorting, rainbow order, color words, and more.

Pillow Throw

As you know, we’re all about super simple, engaging activities, and this one fits the bill perfectly. It’s an awesome indoor gross motor activity for toddlers to kindergarteners, just right for rainy days when there’s simplx too much energy going around that needs to be burned off. This is also the first non-printable activity that’s made its way into the top 3 in several months 😉

My Favorite New Post of August 2016

Picking my personal favorite this month wasn’t as much of a no-brainer as it was in some previous months, but at the end of the day, I had to go with The Letters in My Name. It was N’s first introduction to letters in a very hands-on, sensory way with colorful magnetic letters, rice, and plastic eggs. FUN!
