This month, I’ve once again teamed up with a few blogging friends to bring you our takes on back to school book activities!

I picked the book Maisy Goes to Preschool. I like that it portrays school as something that’s fun and not scary at all. E loves school and isn’t even intimidated by switching schools after the summer.

That doesn’t mean that we don’t enjoy reading books with more problematic back to school themes like Llama Llama Misses Mama, but it’s definitely fun to see all the activities Maisy gets up to at school!

You don’t need to know the book to enjoy the printables in this pack, but the images focus on Maisy’s preschool activities from the book.

To help kids get in the mood for preschool, it has a few different simple activities: Two back to preschool I Spy pages, prewriting tracing pages, two coloring pages, a few 3 piece puzzles, and 3 dot marker letter pages.

The file also includes a convenient clickable table of contents.

Like my other I Spy pages, one of the I Spy games included in this pack has a counting and number recognition component. The other one just has images at a larger size, perfect for pointing out the different activities and as a conversation starter.

This back-to-preschool printable pack is $2.50 in my store. Click the “Get it here!” button below to purchase this printable pack!
