Baking Soda Treasure Rocks

Oh, baking soda and vinegar! My kids have tons of fun every single time with essentially the same activity, but they always put their very own spin on it that’s slightly (or not so slightly) different each time.

Our most recent adventures with this type of science activity was recently published on Living Life and Learning: Baking Soda Treasure Rocks.

Reuse baking soda that has already reacted with vinegar to make Baking Soda Treasure Rocks for recycled fizzy fun! Great science and sensory activity for kids of all ages, from toddlers on up.

Like in our Baking Soda Letters in the Water Table activity, we used baking soda that had previously reacted with vinegar {in this case, it came from our St. Patrick’s Day Fun with Baking Soda and Vinegar activity}. Once the used baking soda has dried, it will react just as well the second time around, it’s pretty awesome!
