20 Fun Literacy Activities for Toddlers

Shortly after his second birthday, N started showing some real interest in letters and numbers: There have been mornings where I found him pointing at the letters on his pajama top until I identified them for him. We walk by an ophthalmologist’s office four times a day, and N always stops to point at the letters on a big banner they have on the fence. I’ve started identifying letter for him wherever we go.

We try to do a tot school activity every day, and N loves it. In order to collect some ideas, I took a look back at literacy activities I did with E when she was little and at activities some of my blogging friends have written about and rounded up 20 Fun Literacy Activities for Toddlers!

Below, I’m sharing what I found – you’re welcome to use the same inspiration for your tot school 🙂
